Everyone talks about the score and shit, instead of the things that actually matter. For a good example of this, look at Manning. Everyone's talking about how his neck looked fine and he got good speed. But he threw one pass that should have been an INT and one INT in a single series. I know he's had a year off, and it's the preseason, but that says more to me than how his neck feels. His neck can feel as good or bad as it wants, what matters is whether or not he throws the ball into the endzone. Based on what I saw, I'm going to say he's no longer the best QB in the league, regardless of his neck.Erikhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11727701871585553791noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4949075318550910381.post-46325573810123160992012-08-14T14:22:18.852-05:002012-08-14T14:22:18.852-05:00I guess I should also comment on the whole preseas...I guess I should also comment on the whole preseason games thing: maybe the Bears used the one good Martz idea, tanking the preseason and running absolutely no plays whatsoever of substance so nobody has any film of them. Why do people pay attention to the preseason? STOP IT.Iggins!https://www.blogger.com/profile/00304872897825135353noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4949075318550910381.post-74930010943123207382012-08-14T14:14:52.998-05:002012-08-14T14:14:52.998-05:00Still going with "I told you Urlacher's i...Still going with "I told you Urlacher's injury was the beginning of the end of his career and every. single. thing. the Bears have done since has corroborated this."<br /><br />Just like Eric said, Urlacher is the kind of guy to tell you he's fine when the trainers have told Lovie that he is way fucked. Not that I think he's done this season, but he doesn't have many effective years left. I would like to remind you I have held this opinion since his injury. I AINT GOT NO BANDWAGON IN ME.<br /><br />Also, you don't write anything for a week then we post shit at the same time? "It's going to be a problem on and off this season" may seem like a no-brainer, the guy's pushing 35 and dive-tackles for a living. But then I keep reminding myself that this is an NFL player, a breed known for vastly understating the severity of their injuries. Not only that, Brian Urlacher is considered one of the hardest motherfuckers in a sport comprised primarily of ape-men. This is a guy who would describe a fistfight with a Great White as "a bit of a tiff." Basically, the part of my mind that knows he'll be alright is reminding me to breathe, while the part of me that knows these men treats concussions like boo-boos until they're soiling themselves in a wheelchair at 45 is saying "His leg is going to fall off."Erikhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11727701871585553791noreply@blogger.com
